Services & Fees: Individual Therapy
Initial
Therapy Session
$220
Initial THERAPY Session
The first therapy session (or, “intake session”) typically lasts around 90 minutes. For both child therapy and parent therapy, this session involves discussing the challenges that led you to seek services as well as relevant background details, like early experiences and family characteristics. A comprehensive evaluation of your child’s needs and abilities (or your needs, in the case of parent therapy!) will be conducted so that we can develop a treatment plan together. Some of this work may continue in future therapy sessions.

Therapy For Children
Individual
Child Sessions
$165
After the intake session, future sessions usually occur weekly and last approximately 45 minutes. Some of these sessions involve one-on-one work with your child, while others may include caregivers or other family members, depending on your child’s treatment needs. At the start of each session, caregivers and children are typically invited to provide a brief update and share recent successes and struggles. Sessions often end with suggestions for families about skills to work on before the next session.
Individual
Parent Sessions
$165
THERAPY FOR PARENTS
After the intake session, individual 45-minute sessions for parents/caregivers of children or teens address parenting stress and challenges through topics such as:

-
Learning about child development to better understand your child and their needs
-
Connecting with your child and strengthening the parent-child relationship
-
Parenting skills for managing your child’s behavior and navigating big emotions
-
Awareness, understanding, and coping strategies for your emotions related to parenting
-
Goals and values influencing your approach to parenting
Parent therapy is not intended to take the place of individual therapy for children or for parents wishing to focus on topics unrelated to parenting but can complement this work.
