Since an appointment involves the reservation of time set aside especially for your child, a minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for rescheduling or cancellation. No penalty will be applied for the first missed session that is not rescheduled or canceled within this window. However, for all additional sessions canceled less than 24 hours ahead of time or missed without cancellation, a fee of $100 will be charged.

INITIAL SESSION ($220)
The first therapy session (or, “intake session”) typically lasts between 75 and 90 minutes. We will discuss your child’s challenges as well as their development and family background. A comprehensive evaluation of your child’s needs and abilities will be conducted so that we can develop a treatment plan together. Some of this work may continue in future therapy sessions.
THERAPY SESSIONS

After the intake session, future sessions usually occur weekly and last approximately 45 minutes. Some of these sessions involve one-on-one work with your child, while others may include caregivers and/or other family members, depending on your child’s treatment needs. At the start of each session, caregivers and children are typically invited to provide a brief update and share recent successes and struggles. Sessions often end with suggestions for families about skills to work on before the next session.

INSURANCE
I am currently a private-pay,
out-of-network provider. While I don't accept insurance, your insurance plan may provide out-of-network benefits. This means your insurance company may reimburse you for a portion of your therapy costs after your deductible is met. I can provide you with a “superbill” (a detailed bill for your therapy services) to take advantage of out-of-network benefits. I recommend that you talk to your insurance company before beginning therapy to learn about your out-of-network benefits.
